        e-mail: jfwicklein@comcast.net
2. After we have agreed on the coaching, click on "Pay Now"
to send a credit card payment of $100 via PayPal.

For newspaper editors:

Stipend for a visit to your paper: As described in my prospectus, the stipend depends on the number of reporters coached, number of days in the visit, number of group sessions scheduled.
I will provide a binding estimate when the editor decides which coaching services fit the paper’s needs. As a guide, my standard fee for newspapers over 300,000 circulation is $500 for each 8-hour day at the paper.

Training budgets are tight: The stipend is negotiable.

For newspaper editors: An alternative:

For those who want to sponsor one-on-one Internet coaching of individual reporters:
The stipend is a total of $100 for each packet of seven stories e-mailed to me by a reporter. The coaching includes a bird-dogging critique of the stories, a memo in which I evaluate them, handouts and a one-hour phone consultation after the reporter has reviewed the edited stories I’ve sent back by email.

Note: I bill newspapers by invoice.
